Having visited several times with my family, I can assure potential guests that the half-board option is particularly economical, including a hearty breakfast and a good three-course dinner that captures local cuisine at its best. The hosts, Stefano and Anna Maria, combine warmth with a genuine passion for the region, making them invaluable resources for planning day trips to hotspots like Florence and Siena. On this occasion, we stayed for just one night after a wedding, and the clean, comfortable room met our needs perfectly. If you appreciate rural settings, the garden is a tranquil escape and the terrace offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. While the breakfast price at €5 seemed a touch steep for what's offered, the nearby local cafés provide better value. In summary, La Locanda Cuccuini is well-positioned for exploring Tuscany and is an affordable choice for those who value experiential travel.
